#Inktober2017 – Roundup

Well that’s it for this years Inktober.  Well done to everyone who took part!

Here’s how Inktober 2017 was for me…

Step 1:

Step 2:

Enjoy other people’s drawings and an increased sense of online community

Step 3:

Notice crippling sense of inadequacy build as month progresses and you realise how extremely talented everyone is.

Step 4:

Pour your insecurity into drawing

Step 5:

Finish Inktober, collapse into a glass of wine to fortify yourself for next year.

Well done. No need to feel inadequate – you’ve achieved something in completing the Inktober challenge for every single day – and your drawings are awesome!

No need for you to sense any inadequacy… but I get it, I do the same thing. Usually I don’t like things I’ve drawn until I set them aside and see them with fresh eyes a couple of days later! Meanwhile, my struggle with Inktober was mainly coming up with a new idea every day.

Every drawing here is superb! And, I so agree with you. As you progress with your drawings each day, you realise how talented all the other artists are! It sure can get difficult keeping up with them, but yet you carry on.
    Great job!

i love your inktober drawings. And seeing yours and everyone else’s kept me going with mine when i came in late from work and just wanted to sleep. Or gave me the umph to catch up. And don’t be so mean to yourself. πŸ˜€ I did it by telling myself the aim is the draw a female face a day, loosely connected to the theme, and post it, no matter how terrible i deem it to be. And in general, the more work you do, the more work you can select. If you get me.
