I’m so glad you posted this. Besides enjoying the artwork you’ve done, I learned something. Previous to this I had never heard of The Knucker(s). Now I’m fascinated by it… as I am of virtually all British Isles folk legends and tales. Thank you (and good job).

Thanks for your comment. I stumbled across this little bit of folk lore when looking up words which have virtually died out in the English language. It’s a ‘creature’ local to Sussex which is where I am from so I fell into a bit of a google vortex as a result. And changed the way I looked at the surrounding countryside when up on the Downs
