Eddie has fully embraced the bed rest required today

What an eventful day. Started with a lovely walk down to the hospital, stopping to admire the blossom on the way and then all the sexy garb of hospital. I learned I am a fighter when coming round from general, apparently I was thrashing so they had to restrain me and put on the padded kiddie rails, which was weird to see when I got more lucid. I had some morphine which tasted like sour Gaviscon and a ham sammich and then slept all day at mums. Now I am sitting comfortably on the sofa with my tiny protector watching Bill Bailey.

Nearly finished this set for Pride in Worthing exhibit in the Summer, a day well spent painting and doing laundry... although those activities are not necessarily compatible

My day has been popping painkillers and distracting myself with doodles and dogs. Actually quite a nice day.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people I am blessed to know who helped make my #lockdownbirthday super special. Didn’t regret not being able to run away to another country for one moment.

Today I will have you know I am a beautiful birthday moon princess and you will address me as such! Because if you can’t declare yourself a princess on your birthday then what is the point of getting older?

That’s enough for me for one day. Time to switch over to Netflix

2020 part 2 and 3 in progress. Been having fun with the paint splatters this morning :)

Finally finished! Just waiting for the glitter to dry so I can varnish it.

Had a great time this week with the wonderful @sarahjamesart drawing famous brands. The more recognisable the harder it is to really nail it, but feeling better about it now I have had a chance to go in with the ink. Drawing is the best way in the world to find a little peace.
