On Friday Daily Doodle was 3 years old, which means that I have been posting a picture a day for the last 1,095 day. To celebrate three years of doodling I made a thing. To be more specific I made an art book.
If you have been with me for the last 3 years, you will know that one of the subjects my doodles keep coming back to are mountains. Mountain Faces is dedicated to my love of mountains. For the last 4 years I have posted a drawing a day, everyday on my online blog. ‘Sitting like a mountain’ has become key to this practice. Mountain Faces is a short expression of this. It’s small, it’s short and it’s sweet. Proving that art doesn’t have to be worthy to be worth sharing.
To mark 3 years and the release of the book I will be giving away some prizes to followers. I want to make a Q & A session and I would love to include questions from yourself below. All you have to do is follow the Daily Doodle blog and post a question to me below. You cold win a signed copy of Mountain Faces or one of the original drawings. Get your questions in by Midnight tonight (GMT) for a chance to win. You can pose more than one question, and if you do that be sure to leave one comment per question to make it easier when I do the blind picking.
As a sneak preview here’s a hill, that looks a bit like a bum. How cheeky!
Do you have a daily creative practice? Then I would love to hear from you! Comment below or tag me on Twitter or Instagram
Did you have a particular experience that inspired your love of mountains and, if so, can you tell us about it?

RE: 3rd Birthday — Congratulations!
RE giving US gifts – you give us one every day. A highlight.
It has been a great pleasure and an education to watch how you evolve your art.

How many mountains have you climbed, if you can remember, and which was your favourite?
