My day has been popping painkillers and distracting myself with doodles and dogs. Actually quite a nice day.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people I am blessed to know who helped make my #lockdownbirthday super special. Didn’t regret not being able to run away to another country for one moment.

Today I will have you know I am a beautiful birthday moon princess and you will address me as such! Because if you can’t declare yourself a princess on your birthday then what is the point of getting older?

That’s enough for me for one day. Time to switch over to Netflix

2020 part 2 and 3 in progress. Been having fun with the paint splatters this morning :)

Finally finished! Just waiting for the glitter to dry so I can varnish it.

Had a great time this week with the wonderful @sarahjamesart drawing famous brands. The more recognisable the harder it is to really nail it, but feeling better about it now I have had a chance to go in with the ink. Drawing is the best way in the world to find a little peace.

Layer number two done! Next up is adding some bright cross hatching and then the best bit! The glitter!

It’s been a long time since I have done any acrylic painting. Probably nearly ten years. I have had so much fun getting back into it this weekend. Getting close to finishing the underpainting on this one. Up next pushing some of the colour values and to start pulling out details.

Finally got a bit of creative spirit back in my life. Thanks @theladyamelia for facilitating the reminder it’s about the process and not the product. It was the little push I needed
