Once in a while you make a friend, who no matter how far away they move, or how long it has been since you have seen them, it always feels like it has been no time at all.
Today I would like to take some time to gussy up one such friend of mine. She the creative power house behind the brand Pop-Vulture. Back in February she let me stay with her in Victoria, Australia and very kindly played guide to Paul and I.
I am always kind on in awe of her. When she was living in the UK I would regularly crash on her living room floor, and she her housemates Ruth and Brody and her husband Scott are just the loveliest people, even when it’s arse o’clock in the morning.
But she is also one of those terribly clever and resourceful people who, even when they are dealing with tremendous life upheaval, are still able to turn their hand to almost anything. She can blog. She can makes cool clothes. She can draw. She also has a refreshingly real and practical approach to mental health, and at her core is just a wonderful compassionate human being who donates 10% of every sale to charity. It’s not a gimmick, it’s not a limited time thing, it’s a core principle of her business.
I cannot recommend her highly enough as a human being, and if you are in the market for clothes that are interesting one offs, then please go and support her.
You can find her on instagram here:
Please please, go and give her a follow. Also tell me about your most amazing friend in the comments below.
